Biography

Arin Sime received his BSEE from the University of Virginia in 1997, with a concentration in computer engineering. Undergraduate thesis topic involved a new fault tree placement algorithm for the DIFtree software package, under the direction of Dr. Joanne Bechta Dugan. Other undergraduate work included the development of the CSIS web pages (which he still maintains) and work as an undergraduate lab assistant in the CSIS Systems Integration Laboratory.
Currently Arin is engineering support staff for the SIL, which is headed by Robert A. Ross. Job duties include PCB design, hardware design, system specifications, and software development for the SIL.
