Biography

Mircea R. Stan was awarded the Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Romania in 1984, and the M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1994 and 1996, respectively. Since 1984 Mircea accumulated more than eight years of industrial experience as an R&D engineer in Bucharest, Tokyo and Atlanta.

Current Research

Low power VLSI, FPGAs and reconfigurable computing, embedded systems and hardware/software codesign, and mixed-mode analog and digital VLSI.
